Live Music at Sunset

During the summer months of July and August, and occasionally in September, the village has a long-standing tradition of hosting a light music recital every Friday evening just before sunset.

The performance is held in the natural setting of an amphitheatre called "Mitzpeh Kinneret", situated in the village centre, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the surrounding mountains.

The magnificent views, the setting sun, the music and the informality of the audience, make for a lovely beginning to a peaceful weekend.

The style of music is light and airy and is often a good mix of folk and classical music.

Every week different musicians are featured, and entry is free. Seating is on the lawn of the amphitheatre. Performances start at 18:30 pm. Bring warm clothing with you, as it can get windy.
